This privacy policy applies to the PawTrack app (hereby referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Caner Gülgeç (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider") as a free service. The Application is provided for use "AS IS".
The Application collects certain information automatically when you download and use it. This information may include:
This information is collected in order to improve the Application’s functionality, stability, user experience, and to support core features such as subscriptions, analytics, and crash diagnostics.
The Application does not gather precise (GPS-level) information about the location of your mobile device.
The Application uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique, non-identifiable user session. This allows the Application to store pet-related information and feature usage without requiring personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number, unless you voluntarily provide such data.
During onboarding and later in the Application, you may create and manage pet profiles, which may include:
All pet information is stored securely in Firebase Firestore under your anonymous user account.
You can delete your pet profile at any time from the Edit Profile screen inside the Application. When you delete a pet, the associated pet data (such as that pet’s profile and related logs) is permanently removed from Firestore and cannot be recovered.
The Application provides an AI-based veterinary information feature ("Vet Chat"), where you can type questions or descriptions about your pet’s condition, health, behavior, diet, and other topics.
Messages that you send in the Vet Chat are stored in Firebase Firestore so that you can view your past conversations in the Application.
You can delete your past conversations at any time from the "Past Conversations" or equivalent screen within the Application. When you delete a conversation, it is permanently removed from Firestore and cannot be recovered.

The Application offers a gallery feature where you may upload photos of your pet. These photos are stored securely in Firebase Storage, and metadata such as the file URL and upload date may be stored in Firebase Firestore under your anonymous account so that the photos can be displayed in the Application.
The Service Provider does not use these photos for any purpose other than displaying them within the Application. Photos are not used for marketing, advertising, analytics, or model training.
You can delete any uploaded photo at any time from the Gallery screen. Deleted photos and related data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
If you delete your pet profile from the Application, all gallery photos associated with that pet are automatically deleted from Firebase Storage and Firestore.
Users should avoid uploading images that contain sensitive personal information or identifiable individuals in the background.
The Application provides a food scanning feature where you can upload an image of pet food or related items in order to receive information about whether it may be suitable for your pet.
When you use this feature, the uploaded image is sent to an AI model for analysis. The image is used only to generate an instant recommendation and is not stored by the Application, Firebase, or the Service Provider after processing.
You should avoid including sensitive or personally identifiable information in the background of images uploaded to the food scanner.

The Application uses third-party services which may collect information used to identify you, in an aggregated and anonymized manner, to improve their own services and to help the Service Provider improve the Application.

The Service Provider does not sell your data or share your user-generated content with third parties for marketing purposes.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes that may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

If you would like the Service Provider to delete all data associated with your anonymous account that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at canergulgec@gmail.com. The Service Provider will respond within a reasonable time and, where possible, delete the requested data.
The Application is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
In the event that the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, they will immediately delete such information from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information while using the Application, please contact the Service Provider at canergulgec@gmail.com so that they can take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. They provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information that is processed and maintained. Data transmitted between the Application and servers is encrypted in transit.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While the Service Provider strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, they cannot guarantee its absolute security.
